Kitchen-Retreat
A 30 year old kitchen was no longer serving the needs of the owner — a woman who enjoyed entertaining, but was also looking to create a cozy place to be by herself in the mornings with her coffee and paper. Instead of following the current trend of combining the kitchen and dining room into one large great room/kitchen, we encouraged her to work within the existing space of her kitchen in a more effective way to allow her to keep her well-used dining room and still attain her goals for the space of the kitchen.
