Finding Space
Tearing out the wall that divided the kitchen from the added family room makes both rooms feel larger, and also functions much better for the owner for casual entertaining. The front room is maintained as a more formal space, so the creation of a "great room" greatly adds to the livability of the whole house without detracting from its flexibility for future owners.
